Vashon Ski School Awards Ceremony – March 10

March 1st, 2010 at Mon, 1st, 2010 at 11:29 am by heidiskrzypek

Those who participated in “ski club” aka Vashon Ski School will celebrate March 10, 7 p.m. at Vashon High School. The event serves as a season wrap-up and awards ceremony for its annual Race Day held last Saturday, Feb. 27 at the Summit at Snoqualmie.

VSS noted more than half of its 2010 participants were snowboarders, which saw more females learning the sport. The median age for participants is 14. The program is for those ages 8 and up.  Sign up for 2010-11 through the Vashon Park District in fall 2010.
