Good luck to the volleyball team

We finally got the volleyball picture in focus. The Pirates play at Cascade Christian at 5:15 p.m. today, a makeup for the game that was postponed two weeks ago when the lights went out at the Puyallup school.

If  the Pirates beat the Cougars they then play Orting at 7 p.m., at Cascade, to decide who goes to Port Townsend tomorrow for the pigtail into sub-districts.

Good luck to the Pirates.

Island resident since 1989. Retired in 2006 after almost 11 years as Beachcomber sports editor and photographer. Has been a volunteer assistant coach for Vashon High School cross country, track and soccer teams.
